Hi there! I am being a Silence for next Halloween and at the next Comic Con in my area, and I was wondering if you knew either where to buy the face/hands or how to make them? If I can't buy them, I'm fairly willing to make them, but I don't know quite how. I'd love to hear your advice!
Wow...Just... Wow. Both of your costumes are absolutely brilliant. (and the fact that you wore them to the Halloween Party just makes it even better...) Just curious, were any people scared of you guys? People don't usually wear costumes that frightening to those parties! (I know, I've been many times, and I've never seen anyone wear anything nearly as terrifying as this.) But seriously, amazing, brilliant job!
Ohayocon? I'm never heard of it! When and where? I'd love to go to a meet up, never have before... I've only been to Wonder Con twice, dressed up only once, so this is all quite new to me! This is the first cosplay I'd made
The Con is the last weekend of January in Columbus Ohio.
Now I don't know if Columbus is a journey for you or not. You mentioned Wondercon. I've done wondercon (it's a lot of fun and not as hectic as SDCC) but this is the Doctor Who Cosplay event of the year.
Our list keeps growing and growing. We have about 30 people going. We have Ood now and several high profile cosplayers. It's very exciting.
And if housing is an issue several group members are giving people places to stay in town free of charge.
Oh gosh! That sound absolutely amazing! I live in California, so Ohio is a bit of a ways for last minute. As I'm transferring Universities, plus moving, in Jan so I'll have to take a rain check. BUT! Do you guys have a facebook and/or tumblr? I'd love to get to know you guys and save up for the year after for sure!
Oh yeah loads of dr who fans... but i just don't get the pleasure of seeing such amazing costumes. I have seen plenty of Doctor cosplays but rarely the other characters. Can I ask how you managed to get the right colour for the body paint for the Angel? It must have taken some time and colour mixing to perfect!!
I we did! I stood by on of the lamps by the main "Mr. Walt Disney" statue and just stood there.... until someone would come up, then I'd move then they'd look away XD I got some pretty good reactions...
I love your art as inspiration and amazingness already. But I can't even tell you how much I love that you're such a dedicated Who fan! YAY - - Those costumes are awesome, - - did you have to put grey makeup on your face? Dedication!! [I really want to see more pics!] Thanks for making my day!!
Awe, you are so sweet! Honestly, you never fail to make my day (or week for that matter )
Oh gosh, I got into Doctor Who less then a year ago... I've already watched all of the new series and Torchwood, and I'm hooked! I even want to cosplay as River (as I have her curly hair). Anyway, I did have grey/white/black/brown textured makeup on my face and chest. John had made an amazing mask, but it didn't fit under the wig
